As I'm sure first impressions can be poor representations of the truth, their food was inadequate and not cooked accurately to order, with inflated prices and a seemingly subpar server. I don't have much desire to return ahah.

The food is great. The selection of beer is wonderful. The service is very friendly and attentive. Clean and inviting atmosphere. The retro decor is awesome. And the price is good.

Waitress was phenomenal. Burger...sweet mercy, this fried jalapenos and a serious side caesar salad..man it was good. Will be returning, and soon. Oh and they absolutely practiced social distancing perfectly.

The food and the atmosphere is awesome. My family loves the wings I come for the fish along with other good eats. We love this place. Eastside location. But all locations good. 😋

Server was slow and didn't seem to care and the place was not busy. Food was edible, but very greasy and overcooked or undercooked. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day, but I took my whole family and I was embarrassed I suggested it. It was definitely not worth the money.

Great spot for hanging out with friends and family. Atmosphere is awesome and the staff are great! Food comes out on time no matter how busy it gets and the alcohol prices are very competitive. My only small complaint is sometimes the outdoor bartender will get swamped when the outside patio gets busy, so you may not get service as quickly as if you were indoors. No fault on the bartenders, they hustle like crazy and are worth the extra tip for their hard effort!

Friendly staff, great drinks, clean restrooms, friendly atmosphere. I had a bartender named Emmie, she was very friendly and funny. Keep hiring people like her! Will definitely be back again!

Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged by my waitress which never happened. I personally had to go to the bar to place my order. Waited another 10 min. For drinks while they sat on a table while she took the order for a 10 top adjacent to my wife, 2 year old and I. Finally got my food (cold) after 20 min wait. Waitress was not friendly, hospitable or courteous AT ALL! I am familiar to the restaurant industry as I was a kitchen manager for a chain restaurant for a few years. I KNOW BAD SERVICE when I receive it. BLIND PIG, YOU HAVE DROPPED THE BALL YET AGAIN as this is not my first negative experience with this restaurant. I LOVE THE FOOD when it is prepared correctly and not SERVED COLD! Honestly, after a few negative experiences, i will not be patronizing your restaurant anymore. You have lost a customer and the word spreads fast. ESPECIALLY IN ATHENS!

Out of all the places I could pick I had to pick here. I wanted a frozen drink..they don't have a way to make them. Okay, over that. I ordered what sounded like a really awesome grilled ham and cheese sandwich and Brunswick stew. I've done a better job at home. It was dry bread with cheese and little scraps of ham. I was ready for the Brunswick stew but when I went to taste it it had no taste. I was able to help it with some salt. I was embarrassed I picked this place as a surprise lunch for me and my husband. He ordered a wrap but it has a bit too much vinegar. The one thing he did enjoy was their large homemade onion rings. That was $25 that I regret minus the tip. I can maybe see go in there for a game night and having nachos or french fries or something.

The Blind Pig Tavern is alright. The food was not the greatest thing, but I still go with my family and enjoy it nevertheless. If you’re looking for a good burger, this probably shouldn’t be on your list of restaurants. Anyways, loved the service and staff and would go again if I had limited options.

Absolutely my favorite place to eat in Athens!!

A well run restaurant and bar. They have fantastic burgers, amazingly good wings, and huge portions.Word to the wise, the spicy foods are much more spicy than at other places. Medium is hot, hot is extreme, and ninja is nuclear. Mild seems to be mild though thankfully.So, if you want serious heat, you will love their spicy food. Otherwise just order the mold and you'll be fine.Lastly, dont the let oft crowded parking lot fool you into thinking the Blind Pig is crowded. All those cars are usually uga students parking illegally so they can use the vet med bus stop.

Social distancing was weak. Capacity may have been limited, but it did not feel like any tjought went into seating tables. I could not wait to get out. Our server's mask never covered her nose and she kept leaning in and over to talk. The hostess wore her mask as a chin strap. May not bother some. But, if you are concerned, be aware. And, then there was the roach that crawled up the wall. Maybe I should have led with that...? The food was exactly pub food. Limited options of you need a healthy meal. But they excel at the fried meals.

We were there for trivia; the bar and staff were awesome!!! However, the trivia master left his dog out front and the dog was malnourished and angry..... great bar but if they employ that man, I'll never go back.

I visited today my first time I was excited it looked nice. However a hair in my drink and my order were wrong. Yikes! The bartender outside had only our table however it was too difficult for her to handle. I was disgusted after seeing HER hair in my drink. It was a bummer eating my cold tater tots to go as I didn’t receive them with my order. Indeed is always carrying resumes of servers/bartenders. Would recommend hiring new help! Also the chick who dropped the food off had an attitude. You chose to work here babe at least act like you enjoy working in the customer service industry.

I know some folks think blind pig tavern is just a bar but let me tell you it's so much more. We were promptly seated by a friendly hostess and given menus. Our waitress took our drink orders and we took a few mins to decide what we wanted. The prices seemed high at first but once the food came to the table we realize the prices were actually lower than the average. We got fried mushrooms which was a basket full of mushrooms which looked more like 2 full orders. We also got the Philly steak and cheese wrap and fries which was amazing, and my fiance got a fried chicken salad sandwich which wasn't exactly what she expected but she was so happy with everything else we decided the sandwich didn't matter. Loved it and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great visit! Immediate greet n seat. Good ambiance and sound levels,too. Friendly service and The Best Turkey burger ever!! I remembered this place from long ago and it's as good as I thought. I'll be back certainly.

The components of an over priced meal:• Hot wings! sauce pooled in the bottom of the basket vs. the wings.• Nachos! Made with cheese sauce instead of grated cheese, which also pooled in the bottom of the basket. Sadly, they don't serve guacamolé.• Burger & fries! Ordered just meat & cheese, no veggies or condiments cooked medium. Got veggies and mayo with my well done burger. Being that it is late November, the flies in the dining area were an unsanitary nuisance. To think I paid $40 for that! I will not return.

Awesome place! A little pricey but the food, the employees and the atmosphere were Awesome. I had an 8oz bacon cheeseburger with pepper Jack cheese and fries. The burger had a great taste and a flavor different from what I'm use to and the fries were cooked just right. The waitress was on her toes, our sweet tea was never empty and she made sure we had what we needed with a smile. I'm sorry I can't remember her name but I paid attention to the other waitresses and they were constantly moving also. The only thing I didn't like were the fried green tomatoes but that's me. The crust was to thick and a little to hard for me but I am use to my Southern Fried Green Tomatoes. Last but not least it was very clean Overall I would give it a 9.95 out of 10!

You have a taste of everything you could want in a neighborhood bar. Fresh consistent tasty bar staples are a given. Wings burgers never disappoint. Full bar good prices daily specials. Bartenders if you like young and snippy ✔ If you like older and salty ✔. They pretty much cover all the bases. See for yourself!

My mom loves their pimento cheese sandwiches. She's here for a few days so we ordered take out tonight. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with cheddar and double bacon with fries and no pickles anywhere. The sandwich tasted like it had been rolled in salt. I called up their and spoke with a really nice manager. He said they didn't have salt on the line. I said maybe the sandwich got salted with the fries. He verified it was bacon and not country ham. He remade the sandwich. The second one was just as salty and had a vague pickle taste. I don't know if they're using salted butter or what but it was terrible. I gave them two stars because my parents were pleased with their sandwiches and the manager was super nice.

I've frequented Blind Pig at the other locations over the years. This location (the second time we did business here) just doesn't seem consistent. I was attempting to phone an order in for pickup while my husband was out. A female answered & immediately placed me on hold. Held seven minutes without her returning, I hung up. Never could get back through, line stayed busy. They were not busy at all. I don't think we'll return to this location now. To add to the service issue, it's extremely clicky with just some neighborhood folks. And that's fine, we love our neighborhood bars too. But the service just isn't there. The waitresses were too busy going for more shots before they left for the day. The food is just ok. We liked the burgers. But, fair warning, everything is over the top SALTY. If you're ok with bar food, that basically is what it is at best. The downtown location has MUCH better food.

I work here so I'm a little biased, but a great friendly atmosphere with good, affordable food and drinks.

My favorite spot in Athens for beers and food. All the Blind Pigs are good, been going to them all for years, but this one is the best. The deck bar is really nice during warmer months.

Bike Night at the Blind Pig! Awesome food and service. They have a dinning area inside and a great padio dinning area outside.

Service great,atmosphere great, but cooks need to practice more on preparing food hot and fresh

If you want an inexpensive, comfortable place to have beers with friends, this is a good place to go. I prefer the atmosphere of this location more than the one on West Broad St.
